About Us:
Tomlin Camera Support Ltd. has been owned and operated by Tom Whitford since 1995. With over 30 years experience in Broadcasting, as an EFP, Handheld Cameraman, Jib Operator and Director of Photography, Tom draws on this experience for every project Tomlin Camera is involved in.
Tom's experience includes 22 years on staff as a Production Cameraman for CBC in Calgary and Edmonton, 9 Olympic Games, numerous Commonwealth, Universiade, Pan Am and Canada Games, 25 seasons of NHL, CFL, Professional Rodeo, Aquatics, Alpine World Cup events and Auto Racing. Other experience includes DOP on CBC Drama projects, documentaries and camera operator on national programs such as the Junos, Canadian Country Music Awards and many music and entertainment shows and DVD's. His work has taken him all over Europe, Asia, South America, as well as coast to coast in the U.S. and Canada.
Tomlin Camera Support Ltd. specializes in the rental and operation of Jib Arms, Camera Cranes, Robotics, Underwater and P.O.V. cameras. We also offer design, maintenance, and manufacturing services. Located in Sherwood Park, just minutes east of Edmonton Alberta, Canada, our clients include TV Production Companies, TV Networks, Film Production, Independant Producers and Freelance Broadcasters, world wide.
